These are cute or whatever, but… What’s the point?

Call me slow, but I just realized something insane.Anakin was said to have been conceived without a father. At first I took this as a silly and cheap allegorical ”Anakin is like Jesus!” thing. Qui-Gon Jinn basically confirmed this in his own theory (“He was conceived by the Holy Spir— err, I mean, the Force.”).Then in Episode III, Chancellor Palpatine tells Anakin the tragedy of Darth Plagueis (Palpatine’s Sith master). He tells Anakin that he was able to create life from nothing but the Force. Then he tells Anakin that Plagueis’ apprentice (Palpatine) learned everything Plagueis taught him, then he killed Plagueis.Guys, Palpatine is Anakin’s father via the Force.Palpatine totally saw way ahead using the Force, created life via the Force (using Shmi as the motherly host), put himself in a place to get sympathy from the Republic when he engineered a trade blockade on his own planet, started a war from it to launch himself into power (remember, he’s in command of both sides of the war), allowed the Jedi to find Anakin, connected with Anakin “like a father,” and ultimately became Anakin’s Sith master.Palpatine made himself a Sith apprentice more powerful than himself to rid the galaxy of the Jedi. And then he did it (Order 66, the clones and Anakin slay nearly every Jedi in existence).Holy. Crap.Now I need to watch all of those movies again.The only new revalation here for me is the Palpatine-creating-Anakin thing, but I wanted to show how perfectly it fits in with everything else.
